Just changed the oil on my 89 Savage - manual says 2.4 litres - but it appeared to be over filled.
Machine seemed to drip oil - I think it was coming out around the gear shift shaft - it dripped for about 500
kms and then when the oil go to a lower level it stopped .
There is nothing in either Clymer or the Suzuki manuals about overfilling - but unsightly drips will mean that at the next change I will be cutting back from 2/4 to 2.2 litres
Anyone else see such a drip issue appear and then dieappear?
